Salary: $25.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 6 to 20 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract (ending: 2024-12-31) Part time leading to full time
Location: 4142 Skyline Dr North Vancouver, BC V7R 3G7
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Morning
Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home, independent or private practice, willing to relocate, private practice, language disorders, and education
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Art therapy
Type of treatment experience: Behaviour modification or behavioural therapy
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to examine and assess behavior to diagnose behavioral, emotional, and cognitive disorders
- The candidates should be able to provide therapy
- The candidates should be able to maintain accurate records
- The candidates should be able to plan intervention programs and conduct program evaluation
- The candidates should be able to record observations, write progress reports, and consult with other health care professionals to evaluate treatment plans
- The candidates should be able to observe and analyze patients during treatment sessions
- The candidates should be able to interview patients and review reports from health care professionals to determine patients’ current and potential functioning levels
- The candidates should be able to initiate, design, and implement specialized therapy programs
- The candidates should be able to implement treatment plans
- The candidates should be able to interview clients, prepare case histories, and assess problems
