Position: Bread route driver
No of Vacancies: 1
Salary: $800 to $1,200 weekly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 50 hours per week Minimum wage is guaranteed
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time leading to full time
Location: Hamilton, ON
Shifts: Night, Weekend, Early Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Transportation/travel experience: Local
Credentials: DZ class license
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to work in physically demanding conditions and handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate a client-focused approach, display efficient interpersonal skills, and to exhibit flexibility
- The candidates should be able to maintain an organized approach to work and reliable and dependable in their job responsibilities
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products and demonstrate professionalism in customer service
- The candidates should be able to sell products over established routes, load and unload goods, and use maps and other trip planning aids
- The candidates should perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
- The candidates should be able to accept payment or invoices for items delivered
- The candidates should be able to perform administrative tasks
- The candidates should provide customer service
