Salary: $77,700 to $95,200 annually (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Thunder Bay, ON

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of  2 years or more
Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD, MS Office, and Autodesk REVIT
Credentials: Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to conduct feasibility studies, economic analyses, traffic studies, environmental impact studies, or other investigations and confer with clients and engineering team members to determine project requirements
  • The candidates should be able to develop construction specifications and procedures, ensuring plans meet building codes and regulations, and interpreting, reviewing, and approving survey and civil design work
  • The candidates should be able to plan and design major civil projects, such as buildings, roads, bridges, dams, water and waste management systems, and structural steel fabrications
  • The candidates should be able to prepare contract documents, review and evaluate tenders for construction projects, supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers, and review and approve designs, calculations, and cost estimates while providing customer service
