Salary: $45,000 to $60,000 annually (to be negotiated) 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: Laval, QC

Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home


Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Insurance experience:  Property/casualty insurance, Automobile insurance, House insurance
Own tools/equipment: Internet access
Credentials: Provincial or territorial licence

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be client focus, organized, flexible, reliable, and judgmental.
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply


  • The candidates should be able to identify and assess potential institutional, business and individual client markets
  • The candidates should be able to establish client insurance coverage, calculate premiums and establish method of payment
  • The candidates should be able to sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft and other types of insurance


  • The candidates will get health care plan, paramedical services coverage, disability benefits
  • The candidates will get Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), group insurance benefits, life insurance, long-term care insurance, Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)
  • The candidates will get free parking, learning/training paid by employer, on-site amenities, paid time off (volunteering or personal days), travel insurance
