Salary: $16.60 to $18.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 10 to 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Part time leading to full time
Location: Brampton, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On Call, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Morning, 10:00 to 21:30
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Vape shop, Specialty shop, In shop, and On-site customer service
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Green economy sector
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their work and be comfortable with tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks efficiently and stand for extended periods if required
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking as part of their duties

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate a cash register efficiently during sales transactions and teach interest or professional development courses effectively
- The candidates should be able to operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems proficiently and provide knowledgeable advice about merchandise to customers
- The candidates should be able to advertise and/or promote products, sales, or services creatively and perform data entry accurately and efficiently
- The candidates should be able to provide excellent customer service to meet the needs of customers and assist in the display of merchandise to attract customers’ attention
- The candidates should be able to conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce platforms securely and estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates accurately
- The candidates should be able to greet customers warmly and engage in discussions about the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease and maintain sales records for inventory control meticulously
- The candidates should be able to prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease carefully to meet customer expectations and prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts accurately and accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payment methods securely
