Salary: $16.50 to $17.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 20 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time
Location: Truro, NS
Shifts: Early Morning, Morning, 04:30 to 08:30
Transportation information: Own transportation
Work setting: Commercial building
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, and physically demanding work with a strong attention to detail
- The candidates should also be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed, and be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, and reliability
- The candidates should also be a team player, exhibit good judgment, and be organized
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, in addition to vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- The candidates should also be capable of handling and reporting lost and found items, providing basic information on facilities, and picking up debris and emptying trash containers
- The candidates should be able to wash windows, walls, and ceilings, furthermore, the candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns
