Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Power tools, Power lawn mowers, Upholstery cleaning equipment
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Bondable, Basic security clearance
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should handle heavy loads
- The candidate should be physically demanding
- The candidate should bend, crouch, kneel
- The candidate should handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be dependable and flexible
- The candidates should be initiative-takers and exercise judgement
- The candidates should be organized and reliable
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs, empty trash cans and other waste containers, and wash windows, interior walls, and ceiling
- The candidate should be able to make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs, as well as perform minor repairs on appliances and move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
- The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, work with minimal supervision, and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
