Salary: $18.00 to $25.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 10 to 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time leading to full time
Location: Sparwood, BC
Shifts: Flexible Hours
Transportation information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence, Public transportation is not available
Work setting: Apartment/condominium complex, Rural area, Relocation costs not covered by employer
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years’
Experience and specialization Equipment: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Power tools
Own tools/equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Equipment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental.
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
- The candidates should be able to contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, perform minor repairs on appliances
- The candidates should be able to perform safety and security checks, show apartments and offices to prospective tenants
- The candidates should be able to supervise other workers, move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
- The candidates should be able to perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, work with minimal supervision
