Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Area of specialization: Furniture and cabinet remodeling, Furniture, Cabinets
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to instruct apprentices
- The candidates should be able to trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form a complete unit and reinforce joints
- The candidates should be able to sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics
- The candidates should be able to apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
- The candidates should be able to maintain a clean and safe work environment, supervise other workers
- The candidates should be able to operate woodworking machines and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components
- The candidates should be able to repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products
