Shifts: Day, Night, Weekend, On Call, Flexible Hours, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Residential

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Architectural specialization: Commercial
Area of specialization: Kitchen cabinets and vanities, Furniture and cabinet remodeling, Doors and door frames, Built-in units, Cabinets
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
  • The candidates should be able to work in non-smoking area

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be accurate
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made, or prepare specifications, trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints
  • The candidates should be able to sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics
  • The candidates should be able to apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products
  • The candidates should be able to maintain clean and safe work environment
  • The candidates should be able to supervise other workers, estimate costs and materials
  • The candidates should be able to operate woodworking machines and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components
  • The candidates should be able to repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures and related products
