Campground attendant
Surf Grove Campground Ltd. based in Tofino, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Campground attendant. Surf Grove Campground Ltd. isn’t just for surfers, but with the country’s best surf beach just a stone’s throw from your campsite, it’s the perfect place to be one. We provide all your surf needs—from wax to wetsuits to boards to lessons—we’ve partnered with the pros. Since 1998, the folks at Pacific Surf Company have been sharing their passion for surf with students of all ages and skill levels. And now they’re setting up a surf shack right here on Cox Bay. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $15.65 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: Tofino, BC
Shifts: Day, Weekend
Work Setting: Staff accommodation available
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset, also training will be provided to the candidates
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be Physically demanding and pay attention to detail.
- The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads.
- The candidate should be willing to work in a bending, crouching, kneeling position for extended periods of time.
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate should be flexible, reliable and a good team player.
- The candidate should be focused on client.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to clean and maintain recreational facilities and grounds.
- The candidate should collect tickets and fees, and rent or sell sports and accessory equipment.
