Salary: $49,980 annually for 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Edmonton, AB
Shifts: Day, To be determined
Transportation information: Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence and Public transportation is available
Work setting: Community-based agency and Community service organization
Supervision: Working groups

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Word
Credentials: First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check

  • The candidates should be dependable, possess efficient interpersonal and oral communication abilities, and function well as team players
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellence in written communication, initiative, and flexibility in their approach to tasks
  • The candidates should exercise good judgment in decision-making, uphold values and ethics in professional conduct, and be reliable in their performance

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to identify barriers to employment and assist clients with matters such as job readiness skills, job search strategies, writing résumés, and preparing for job interviews
  • The candidates should be able to perform administrative tasks
  • The candidates should be able to identify additional/alternative services and provide referrals
  • The candidates should be able to liaise with community agencies or partners, identify additional or alternative services, and provide referrals
