Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Construction
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically capable of handling physically demanding tasks and excel at working under tight deadlines
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client focus in their approach to work and be effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- The candidates should be able to measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- The candidates should be able to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- The candidates should be able to fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- The candidates should be able to schedule and co-ordinate work on sites and supervise other workers
- The candidates should be able to maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
