Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Other Requirements:
The candidate should be who is Judgemental, Reliable, and team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- The candidate should be able to prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools, build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems, fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- The candidate should be able to schedule and co-ordinate work on sites, instruct apprentices, supervise other workers ans estimate costs and materials
- The candidate should be able to maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
