Salary: $23.00 to $24.00 hourly (To be negotiated) 32 to 36 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Bondable
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should excel in a fast-paced environment and be capable of working under pressure
- The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks and able to handle heavy loads effectively
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail even in challenging situations
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability and be effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, and level earth to fine grade specifications
- The candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance work, remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
- The candidates should be able to measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
