Transportation information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, and Valid driver’s licence

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and at heights
  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate client focus
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should exhibit flexibility
  • The candidates should be reliable, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently, mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately, and assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades according to safety standards, assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites with attention to safety protocols, and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs according to blueprints and specifications
  • The candidates should be able to level earth to fine grade specifications precisely, pave and rake asphalt smoothly and evenly, and assist in demolishing buildings safely and efficiently
  • The candidates should be able to help the medical examiner in charge with their tasks as required, clean and pile salvaged materials neatly, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants following safety guidelines
  • The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites promptly, tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction as needed, direct traffic at or near construction sites safely and effectively, and read and interpret blueprints accurately to understand construction plans
