Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate a cash register, process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and scan items
- The candidates should be able to tabulate the total payment for goods or services required, receive payment for goods or services, and calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
- The candidates should be able to engage in suggestive selling, stock shelves and clean the counter area, greet customers, and assist theatre patrons with seat selection
- The candidates should be able to wrap or place merchandise in bags, assist customers with self-checkout, calculate foreign currency exchange, monitor all entrances and exits, and request proof of payment when necessary
- The candidates should be able to verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
