Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and capable of working effectively under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate in their work and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various work requirements
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate a cash register, process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and scan items
- The candidates should be able to tabulate the total payment for goods or services, receive payment, and calculate daily/shift payments received, reconciling with total sales
- The candidates should be able to engage in suggestive selling, stock shelves, and clean the counter area
- The candidates should be able to greet customers, participate in promotional activities, and verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
