Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 7+ years I.T. experience in progressive development, design, and management related positions

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have 5+ years of experience deploying AI/ML-based solutions
  • The candidates should have 3+ years of experience building big data solutions, including proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar technologies such as SAS, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Pig, or R
  • The candidates should have 3+ years of experience working in an Azure or similar environment
  • The candidates should possess a deep understanding of statistical analysis and how to process large data sets
  • The candidates should have experience working with unstructured data from disparate sources and using it to provide insightful research and insights
  • The candidates should have strong experience working with Python and cloud services such as Azure Service Bus, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure OpenAI, and Databricks
  • The candidates should have strong hands-on experience with building and deploying microservices and data pipelines using tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, service mesh, and API Gateways
  • The candidates should have experience interpreting and applying security best practices to create, harden, and secure infrastructure and applications
  • The candidates should have an understanding of the cloud ecosystem and leading-edge emerging data & AI technologies
  • The candidates should have an understanding of event-driven/reactive architectures and integrations
  • The candidates should hold a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or possess equivalent relevant experience
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent analytics, problem-solving, and solutioning skills
  • The candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to lead efforts to design and build next generation capabilities in AI and Data Sciences
  • The candidates should be able to drive adoption and rollout of AI driven solutions that accelerate productivity in software delivery and enhance customer experiences by leveraging data and Generative AI
  • The candidates should be able to drive work in an uncertain environment, ensuring consensus and progress in emerging areas such as generative AI and its applications
  • The candidates should be able to manage Python-based development and possess a strong understanding of the language and popular frameworks
  • The candidates should be able to lead a team consisting of Python developers, including resource allocation, performance management, coaching, mentoring, and day-to-day support
  • The candidates should be able to lead projects, set standards, coach, mentor, and encourage team members
  • The candidates should be able to manage team priorities and delivery of business requirements through agile delivery (SAFe)
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of Generative AI, including prompt engineering and model selection
  • The candidates should be able to tune models effectively, which is considered a strong asset
  • The candidates should be able to drive investigation and adoption of new and emerging AI/ML capabilities
  • The candidates should be able to define patterns around data pipelines and storage to encourage re-use within the team
  • The candidates should be able to enforce clean code and excellent engineering practices as part of managing a team of developers
  • The candidates should be able to work with the SRE team to ensure cloud-based solutions provide sufficient telemetry to support SLAs and operations
  • The candidates should be able to lead the technical design of Data & AI related solutions and collaborate with the architecture team
  • The candidates should be able to modernize engineering practices and drive continual improvements in ways of working
  • The candidates should be able to partner with multiple technical and business stakeholders, providing technical expertise for Data and AI related issues
  • The candidates should be able to provide hands-on-keyboard support to the team where required
