Boston Pizza based in Waterdown, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Chef. Boston Pizza offers guests two experiences under one roof – a family-friendly casual dining restaurant and a separate sports bar with a lively atmosphere. While we’re famous for our gourmet pizzas made with our signature hand pressed dough, our extensive menu satisfies every appetite with our mouth-watering pasta dishes and a wide variety of, salads, entrées and desserts. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be organized, reliable, should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory, prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
- The candidates should be able to prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
- The candidates should be able to prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- The candidates should be able to train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
