Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Employer’s home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment, Urban area, and Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Target audience: School age (6 – 12 years), and Kindergarten age (4 – 5 years)
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Reference required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions and possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various situations and show initiative in taking on new challenges
- The candidates should exhibit sound judgment in decision-making, be organized in their tasks and responsibilities, and maintain reliability in their work and commitments
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and supervise and care for children
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and tend to the emotional well-being of children
- The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and take children to and from school and to appointments
