Transportation information: Public transportation is available, Willing to travel
Work setting: Employer’s home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment, Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Reference required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks as part of their duties and demonstrate attention to detail in their work
- The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as needed
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions, possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication, and exhibit excellent oral and written communication abilities
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances, show initiative in taking proactive steps to address challenges, and exercise good judgment in decision-making situations
- The candidates should maintain an organized approach to their work, be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities, and be effective team players, collaborating well with colleagues
- The candidates should possess strong time management skills to meet deadlines
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and travel with the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize activities such as games and outings for children, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
- The candidates should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods, sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and change diapers for infants, supervise and care for children, and tend to the emotional well-being of children
