Transportation information: Travel expenses paid by employer
Work setting: Employer’s home, optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Supervise and care for twins
Credentials: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should adhere to a non-smoking policy while at work
- The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks as part of their role and be capable of handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions and tasks and possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral and written communication abilities, exhibit flexibility in adapting to various circumstances and requirements, and show initiative in addressing tasks and challenges proactively
- The candidates should exercise good judgment in decision-making processes, maintain organization in their work methods and responsibilities, and demonstrate reliability in fulfilling their duties and commitments
- The candidates should be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues, and exhibit effective time management skills
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
- The candidates should be able to sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and change diapers for infants, supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and to appointments, and tend to the emotional well-being of children
