Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should not smoke
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, be organized, and be reliable
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies, travel with the family on trips, and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- The candidates should be able to wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, and care for foster children
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
- The candidates should be able to sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and change diapers for infants, supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and to appointments, and tend to the emotional well-being of children
