Salary: $15.75 to $17.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 32 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning
Work setting: Employer’s home, Urban area, Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication and exhibit flexibility
- The candidates should show initiative and be organized
- The candidates should display reliability and be a team player
- The candidates should have patience and demonstrate honesty
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to change diapers, follow parents’ lead with toilet training, and bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
- The candidates should be able to sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, including performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, and cook
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents and instruct them in personal hygiene and social development
- The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
- The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, and take them to and from school and appointments
- The candidates should be able to tend to the emotional well-being of children, and follow parents’ lead with toilet training
