Work setting: Employer’s home, optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment, work in the employer’s/client’s home, room and board provided
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Target audience: Toddler to pre-school (1 – 3 years)
Credentials: Red Cross Babysitting course
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking, adhering to a smoke-free workplace policy

- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, fostering positive and productive communication with colleagues and clients

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household, including bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children in the absence of parents
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents and maintain a safe and healthy environment at home
- The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and supervise and care for children
- The candidates should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods, sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, change diapers, and take children to and from school and appointments
