Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a high school diploma
Experience: Candidates should preferably have twelve (12) months of heavy vehicle driving experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess a Class AZ (Class 1) driver’s license with a good driving record
- The candidates should have air brake certification
- The candidates should possess customer service and analytical skills
- The candidates should have the ability to multitask
- The candidates should have organizational skills, especially on the road
- The candidates must be able to communicate effectively between hub, station facility management, and dispatch
- The candidates must be receptive and adaptable to change
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to transport freight to and from stations and hub facilities and/or pickup and delivery of large skidded freight and/or multiple piece skidded shipments in a safe and responsible manner and with a sense of urgency
- The candidates should be able to operate power material handling equipment for proper loading, weight balancing, and sequencing of unit loading devices on a regular basis
- The candidates should have the ability to operate manual transmission
