Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and handle physically demanding tasks with attention to detail
- The candidates should be comfortable with standing for extended periods and performing tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling, and be able to handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and be a team player. They should also uphold values and ethics, demonstrate good judgment, be organized, and maintain punctuality
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, as well as dust furniture
- The candidates should be capable of vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, and also making beds and changing sheets. Additionally, they should be able to distribute clean towels and toiletries and stock the linen closet
- The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
- The candidates should be able to pick up debris and empty trash containers, as well as wash windows, walls, and ceilings
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
