Work setting: Apartment/condominium complex, office building, commercial building, shopping centre or mall, recreational facility/institution, health care institution, facility or clinic, hospital/medical facility or clinic, hotel, motel, resort, and school or educational institution/establishment
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials: Safety equipment/gear
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure and handle repetitive tasks efficiently, heavy loads, and physically demanding work
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, have experience in weight handling, and be able to handle weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability, reliability, and organizational skills
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility and exercise good judgment
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs, operate industrial vacuum cleaners, and empty trash cans and waste containers
- The candidates should be able to wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings, contact contractors for repairs and maintenance, and perform minor repairs on appliances
- The candidates should be able to perform safety and security checks, move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, work with minimal supervision, and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
