Salary: $17.49 to $17.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 16 to 16.3 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Oshawa, ON
Shifts: Evening, 14:30 to 17:30

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Own transportation, valid driver’s licence
Credentials: Corkplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, reference required

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be capable of working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and handling heavy loads and physically demanding tasks
  • The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks and demonstrate attention to detail in all tasks
  • The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling as necessary, as well as with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking during work hours
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods as required by the job

  • The candidates should prioritize punctuality in their work schedules and demonstrate a strong focus on client needs and satisfaction
  • The candidates should exhibit dependability in fulfilling their duties and commitments and possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication

  • The candidates should demonstrate honesty in all interactions and tasks

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • The candidates should be able to handle and report lost and found items and provide basic information on facilities
  • The candidates should be able to pick up debris and empty trash containers, as well as wash windows, walls, and ceilings
