Transportation information: Willing to travel regularly, Valid driver’s licence, Travel expenses paid by employer
Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Apartment/condominium complex, Urban area, Office building, Various locations, Commercial building, Private residence, Service/clean, Janitorial service company
Supervision: Janitors, caretakers and building superintendent
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Area of specialization: Cleaning
Credentials: Certificates, license’s, memberships, and courses, Housekeeping room attendant certification
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Driver’s validity license check, Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidate should have ability to work independently
- The candidate should work under pressure
- The candidate should do repetitive tasks
- The candidate should have attention to detail
- The candidate should do bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should have to stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual and client-focused
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability and flexibility, along with initiative and organizational skills
- The candidates should exhibit reliability and patience
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- The candidates should be able to make beds, change sheets, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- The candidates should be able to attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items, pick up debris, and empty trash containers
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses
