Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of post-secondary education in Business Administration and Office Administration
Experience: Candidates should have two years of experience providing administrative or clerical support in an office environment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be capable of working independently with minimal supervision, often exercising sound judgment
- The candidate should be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrate strong skills in setting up, organizing, and maintaining filing and record management systems
- The candidate should be able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have two (2) years of experience providing administrative or clerical support in an office environment, including tasks such as, Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems, Processing mail and performing reception duties, Taking meeting minutes, Entering large volumes of data accurately and efficiently, Using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Drafting correspondence and proofreading documents for spelling, punctuation, grammar, and accuracy
- The candidate should have the ability to acquire additional software skills, organize work and set priorities to meet strict deadlines
- The candidate should be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels and with external stakeholders, possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to receive, record, circulate, and track development application files in accordance with legislative requirements
- The candidates should be able to establish and maintain record-keeping and application filing systems, and generate various reports and communications
- The candidates should be able to coordinate weekly meetings, and record, update, and maintain a monthly calendar of important dates and deadlines to assist the Branch in meeting scheduled deadlines
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service and perform other duties in support of the Branch and Division operations
