Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be proficient in bending, crouching, and kneeling, capable of handling heavy loads, and experienced in performing repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, possess a keen attention to detail, and be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems, maintaining sales records for inventory control
- The candidates should provide advice about merchandise, assist in merchandise display, and conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
- The candidates should estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates, greet customers, discuss merchandise or services, prepare sales contracts, accept various forms of payment, perform data entry, provide customer service, and participate in advertising and promoting products, sales, or services
