Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Area of specialization: Retail business
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in an air-conditioned environment and be prepared to work outdoors as needed
- The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their approach to tasks and schedules
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to unpack products received by the store and count, weigh, or sort items, maintain computerized stock inventory, and order stock
- The candidates should be able to record incoming stock, stock shelves and display areas, and keep stock clean and in order
- The candidates should be able to attach protective devices to products to protect against shoplifting and perform general cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors
