Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years’
Equipment and machinery experience: Computer numerical control (CNC) machines
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles, Face shield, Hard hat

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be initiative, should have excellent oral communication, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, repair machine tools and parts
  • The candidates should be able to set up and adjust production machineries/tools, fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • The candidates should be able to maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments
  • The candidates should be able to verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
  • The candidates should be able to verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
