Salary: $29.00 hourly 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be physically demanding
  • The candidates should be attentive to detail
  • The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and have excellent oral communication
  • The candidates should be a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables, and set up and adjust production machineries/tools
  • The candidates should be able to repair machine tools and parts, fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, and maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments
  • The candidates should be able to document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports, verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • The candidates should be able to compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces, and set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
