Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Boring machines, Milling machines, Single purpose production machine, and Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines
Own tools/equipment: Tools and Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Machinist Trade Certification and Machinist Red Seal Endorsement
Measuring tools: Micrometers, Calipers, Gauges, and Verniers
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under tight deadlines and demonstrate attention to detail in their work while being physically capable of meeting demanding job requirements
- The candidates should be willing to work overtime when required and be capable of handling weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs) as needed, even if it requires standing for extended periods if necessary

- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables accurately to understand project requirements and set up and adjust production machineries/tools efficiently for proper operation
- The candidates should be able to document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances meticulously to maintain quality standards and verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers, to ensure accuracy
- The candidates should be able to compute dimensions and tolerances, measure and lay out work pieces accurately according to project specifications, and set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools proficiently to fabricate parts and components
- The candidates should be able to verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality and compliance
