Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be physically capable of performing duties such as Lifting, pulling, pushing, shoveling, climbing and piling of all types of materials
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have a Forklift Certificate and demonstrated safe proficiency working with all forklift attachments.
- The candidate should have the ability to work on a rotating shift basis
- The candidate should be able to work in extreme temperatures, high humidity and dusty conditions and function in a noisy environment and wear hearing protection.
- The candidate should be able to work with all required safety equipment
- The candidate should have the ability to read small print under normal freezer lighting conditions and have demonstrated mathematical ability through the successful completion of a written test.
- The candidate should have demonstrated proficiency working with WMS and have a satisfactory employment record.
Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work under the direction of and report to the Shift Supervisor and/or Lead Hand and also safely and proficiently operate propane/electric forklifts, pallet jack and skid steer loader.
- The candidate should be able to properly place/withdraw product in the freezer following procedures to maximize space and follow stock rotation and properly expedite orders.
- The candidate should be able to provide help to other areas of distribution as required and also accurately relate/maintain all required documentation.
- The candidate should be able to perform all duties in a safe, accurate and efficient manner and also perform housekeeping in the work area to established standards.
- The candidate should be able to perform all other duties as assigned.
