Salary: $60,000 to $90,000 annually (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time – Virtual job
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Flexible Hours, To be determined
Work setting: Oil and gas industry
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Civil engineering and Survey
Area of work experience: Oil or gas pipelines
Type of industry experience: Oil and Gas Well Sites
Survey specialization: Land survey and Legal survey
Computer and technology knowledge: Internet, Desktop applications, Mapping and data visualization software, Database software, Computer-aided design (CAD), AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Windows and Spreadsheet
Own tools/equipment: Internet access and Cellular phone
Credentials: AutoCAD Certification
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with tight deadlines, have good attention to detail, and be comfortable with extended periods of sitting
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills and excellent written communication skills
- The candidates should be organized and team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare engineering designs and drawings, develop and prepare design sketches and examine drawings for conformity and errors
