Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Unix, device drivers, networking software, networking hardware, networking security, extranet, intranet, internet, servers, desktop applications, file management software, database software, programming languages, software development, MS Office, MS Windows, and social media
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced work environment, demonstrating the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should be capable of handling repetitive tasks and managing/lifting heavy loads, requiring physical fitness for demanding tasks
- The candidates should exhibit manual dexterity and possess a high level of attention to detail in performing job responsibilities
- The candidates should be comfortable with extended periods of sitting and be able to adapt to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods as required and be capable of tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, computer workstations, and peripheral equipment
- The candidates should be able to evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software, as well as load computer tapes, disks, install software, and manage printer paper and forms
- The candidates should be able to provide problem-solving services to network users and implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
- The candidates should be able to perform routine network start-up and close down, maintain control records, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
- The candidates should be able to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade Web-server hardware and software, set up LANs and connections to the Internet
- The candidates should be able to implement network traffic and security monitoring software, optimize server performance, research and apply meta-data to websites, and register websites with search engines
- The candidates should be able to respond to requests for help and information from website visitors and designers, and perform web-server backup and recovery operations
