Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials and direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
- The candidates should be able to fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, operate power vibrators to compact concrete, and level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications
- The candidates should be able to impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures, and apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
- The candidates should be able to waterproof, damp-proof, and restore surfaces
- The candidates should be able to repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
