Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform janitorial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs
- The candidates should be able to operate industrial vacuum cleaners to effectively remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
- The candidates should be able to handle various maintenance responsibilities, including making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems. They should also be capable of contacting tradespersons for major repairs
- The candidates should be able to wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings as part of their cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to conduct safety and security checks regularly
- The candidates should be able to show apartments and offices to prospective tenants, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills
- The candidates should be able to supervise and coordinate the work of other workers efficiently
- The candidates should be able to move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies when required
- The candidates should be able to perform additional routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
- The candidates should be able to care for plants, lawns, and/or gardens by watering and tending to them
- The candidates should be able to maintain hygiene by cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and fixtures as part of their responsibilities
