Salary: $16.00 to $24.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 to 40 hours per week

Transportation information: Own transportation and own vehicle

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Residential
Own tools/equipment: Tools, steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, earplugs, and safety vest
Credentials: Personal protective equipment (PPE) training, Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate, Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), and Provincial/Territorial Asbestos Hazards Certification

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, be comfortable with repetitive tasks and physically demanding work, and have the ability for sound discrimination while working under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should prioritize client focus, possess efficient interpersonal skills, be dedicated team players, demonstrate accuracy, and exhibit a hardworking attitude

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, mix, pour, and spread materials
  • The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, and direct traffic at or near construction sites
  • The candidates should be able to work in a team with shared supervisory responsibilities and perform routine maintenance work, showcasing a versatile set of construction and teamwork skills
