Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, in noisy environments, and in dusty conditions
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently, as well as instruct apprentices and provide guidance on construction tasks
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials according to project requirements, and assist heavy equipment operators in their tasks
- The candidates should be able to assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols, and perform routine maintenance work on tools and equipment
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to maintain a clean and safe working environment, and direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure the safety of workers and the public
