Salary: $21.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time
Location: Surrey, BC
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning and Morning
Work setting: Various locations
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work overtime, perform repetitive tasks and also handle heavy loads
- The candidate should be physically strong
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment and also work with being focused on the client
- The candidate should be reliable and also a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to load, unload and transport construction materials, mix, pour and spread materials, pave and rake asphalt, tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction and also direct traffic at or near construction sites
- The candidate should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades, clean and pile salvaged materials, clean up chemical spills and other contaminants and also remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- The candidate should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs and also assist in demolishing buildings
