Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working at heights as required by the job duties, able to work in noisy environments as necessary, and prepared to work in dusty conditions as part of the job requirements
- The candidates should be able to work in hot environments as needed, thrive in a fast-paced environment, efficiently managing tasks and responsibilities, and be prepared for physically demanding tasks as part of the job requirements
- The candidates should demonstrate sound discrimination abilities, distinguishing between various sounds as needed for the job, and be capable of handling weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as necessary for their duties
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
- The candidates should be able to help the medical examiner in charge, clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work
- The candidates should be able to tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
