Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces, and they should be tolerant of noisy and dusty environments
- The candidates should be physically capable of meeting demanding tasks and working under tight deadlines, as well as capable of performing repetitive tasks efficiently
- The candidates should be skilled in handling heavy loads and possess good hand-eye coordination, enabling them to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) effectively
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, exhibit reliability, and be effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently, and they should be capable of erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades according to safety protocols
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately, and they should assist in demolishing buildings safely and effectively
- The candidates should be able to clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or disposal, remove rubble and other debris at construction sites efficiently, and direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure safety for workers and the public
