Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Own tools/equipment: Tools, steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, safety vest
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, and mix, pour, and spread materials
- The candidates should be able to assist heavy equipment operators, assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
- The candidates should be able to pave and rake asphalt, assist in demolishing buildings, and clean and pile salvaged materials
- The candidates should be able to clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, direct traffic at or near construction sites, perform routine maintenance work, and assemble tower cranes on-site
