Salary: $20.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, Early Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation and Willing to travel regularly
Work setting: Construction site

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat and Safety vest 
Security and safety: Bondable and Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be familiar with repetitive tasks and be capable of handling heavy loads
  • The candidates should be physically fit to meet demanding physical requirements
  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure and be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, be able to work in dusty environments, and should be able to work in noisy conditions

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials, and assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • The candidates should be able to pave and rake asphalt, and clean and pile salvaged materials
  • The candidates should be able to clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
