Salary: $23.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Location: Burnaby, BC
Shifts: Flexible Hours
Transportation information: Own transportation and willing to travel
Work setting: High-rise building construction sites
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Area of specialization: Industrial, commercial, and institutional, and residential
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and hard hat
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in dusty conditions
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines, and handling repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be physically capable of demanding tasks and handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be willing to work overtime when required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability and reliability, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and exhibit flexibility
- The candidates should also be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials and remove rubble and debris at construction sites
- The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
